The staircase treads at this home were beyond a simple refinish, they needed to be remodeled outright. Rather than patch around the problem, we framed an entirely new staircase from the ground up, giving us a clean foundation to build the finished look on top of.

Once the new structure was in place, we added Hickory posts and railings, paired with stainless steel cable for the barrier rails. The result is a staircase that solves the original tread problem while giving the home a cleaner, more open feel than the one it replaced.
