Remodel Staircase Gallery

Not every staircase needs to be built from scratch. Sometimes the most rewarding work is taking what’s already there, correcting what’s wrong, and transforming it into something genuinely beautiful. Every project in this gallery started with a problem to solve and ended with a result the homeowner couldn’t imagine living without.

Staircase Remodel Projects Across SW Washington
Three very different starting points. Three completely transformed results.

About This Collection

Staircase remodeling is where structural problem-solving and design vision meet. These projects each started with something that wasn’t working, whether code violations, outdated aesthetics, or dangerous geometry, and ended with a staircase that performs correctly and looks like it was always meant to be there.

Remodel projects draw from the same premium material palette as our custom builds: quality hardwoods, iron balusters, custom-manufactured newel posts, and precision-milled treads. The difference is that remodel work often requires matching or complementing existing materials already in the home, which demands a higher level of attention to detail and an experienced eye for continuity.

What to Expect From a Custom Staircase Project

Every remodel starts with an honest assessment of what exists. Ron personally evaluates the current structure, identifies code deficiencies, unsafe geometry, and design limitations, then develops a plan that addresses all of it. There are no surprises buried in the contract and no corners cut to stay under a number. You get a clear scope, a defined timeline, and a crew that treats your home with respect from day one.

When Good Enough Simply Is Not Good Enough

Staircrafters has completed staircase remodel projects throughout Vancouver, Battle Ground, West Vancouver, and surrounding Clark County communities. If your current staircase has code issues, safety concerns, or simply doesn’t reflect the home you’ve worked hard to build, we’d like to help you fix that.
