One Wood, Head to Toe, Top to Bottom
This client wasn’t just updating a staircase, he was remodeling the entire interior of his home. That gave us a rare opportunity: rather than matching new work to what already existed, we got to help choose the material that would define the whole space from the ground up.

He chose Black Walnut, and we carried it everywhere: the floors, the treads, the caps, the rails, and the post tops all share the same wood and finish, so the staircase reads as one continuous piece with the rest of the home rather than a separate installation. Powder-coated 5/8 inch round tubing handles the barrier rails, keeping the sightlines open without competing with all that walnut.
