Hidden Glen Home

This staircase wasn’t a standalone project, it was one piece of a larger, ongoing remodel already underway. Removing the upper and lower pony walls was next on the list, but the real challenge was making sure our work looked like it belonged with everything else happening in the home at the same time.

BEFORE: Original staircase with pony walls before the remodel at the Hidden Glen home.
AFTER: Staircase with pony walls removed and stain color matched to new floors at the Hidden Glen home.

We worked directly with the home’s flooring contractor to match the stain color across the floors, landings, treads, and stair parts, so the finished staircase reads as one continuous surface rather than two separate trades’ work stitched together. Powder-coated round balusters finished the look with a clean, modern edge.
