Summerplace Home

The staircase at this home was outdated and no longer code-compliant, and the problems went beyond what a simple refinish could fix. We stripped it down completely, removing every railing, post, tread, and riser to start from a clean, solid foundation.

BEFORE: Outdated, non-code staircase at the Summerplace home.
AFTER: Rebuilt, leveled staircase with new treads, risers, and painted skirt boards at the Summerplace home.

Getting a staircase truly right often comes down to details most people never see. We adjusted and leveled each individual tread and added extra backing to properly support the new treads, work that’s invisible in the final product but essential to how the staircase feels underfoot for years to come. Our installers finished the job by bending, installing, and hand painting both the inside and outside skirt boards, giving the staircase a clean, finished line from top to bottom.
