Mt. Pleasant
Beauty by Request, Built by Hand
This home looks out over the Columbia River, and the client wanted the staircase to carry a detail as personal as the view. He asked if we could inlay horseshoes randomly into the stair treads, a request that called for the same precision we bring to any structural element, just applied to something entirely custom.

Custom requests like this one are where craftsmanship and creativity meet. The horseshoes are set by hand, unevenly by design, so the finished staircase feels personal rather than manufactured, a small signature built into a structural centerpiece.
